Day #8 I am grateful for my country.

I am so grateful to live in this country of liberty and opportunity. I am so grateful to have the freedom to worship God the way I believe He has called me to do. I am so grateful that we have a rich history of people who have stood up for freedom and liberty. Even though our country has major problems and major failures, I love her and I will stand by her. My life is all about God, Family and Country. America I believe it is still a beautiful and wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. I am so proud that I have family and friends throughout the past and present that have fought and are fighting for the land of the free. I am so grateful to all have served our country. I salute the flag and our soldiers for I know that we would not be here if our people and soldiers did not stand for our Constitution. God bless America and our troops!

Thankful month! Day #1

Though ever day should be thankful day, I do think it is good to voice our thankfulness and say what we are thankful for. So this month I am posting what I am thankful for.
I know I am behind, so be patient with me as I catch up!

#1 thing I am thankful for is GOD.

I know He is taboo to talk about but I cannot keep my mouth shut. My GOD is amazing! He is my Rock (Psalm 62:7), my Comforter (Isaiah 61:2; Psalm 86:17), my Shield (Psalms 5:11-12), my Shepherd (Psalm 18:1-2; Psalm 23), my Strength (Psalm 18:1-2; Philippians 4:12-13), my Light and Salvation (Isaiah 12:2; Psalm 27:1) , my Resurrection and Eternal Life (John 11:25-26), my Victory (1 John 5:4), my Refuge (Psalm 9:9-10), and my Friend (John 15:5).

He has changed my life! He gives me hope and peace in the midst of the roaring storms I have, do, and will face. He will never forsake or leave me (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5). He has written me on the palm of His hand (Book of Isaiah 49:16) and there I am safe and nothing can separate us (John 10:27-30; Romans 8:38-39). He is mine and I am His (Isaiah 43:1, Isaiah 62:1-12). Forever and Always I will be His! Thank you LORD!!

Oh how great it is when a believer dies!

Oh how great it is when a believer dies!

Some will say, WHAT??!!! How can it be great to lose someone you love?!!!
After the loss of my friend Grandma Donna, it has gotten me thinking. She is so dear to me. It's  so hard to loss someone we love. Though we mourn and grieve for our loss of dear ones!! We miss them!! Though we should be rejoicing when a believer receives their call home to with the LORD!! We are not sad for them but rather over us missing them until we join them in Heaven.

"He will swallow up death in victory, and the Lord GOD will wipe away all tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall He take away from off all the earth: for the LORD has spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejopice in His salvation." - Isaiah 25:8-9

Thinking about death of others you soon begin to think about your own. So I have decided to write up a will/testament letting my loved ones know what I want when I pass on. I don't want a funeral! NO people wearing black, being solemn... I want a Death Celebration!! I want a party!! I ban black, want to people to sing worship and my favorite songs!! I don't want people to be sad for me ever but, happy I am no longer in this fallen world but with my LORD GOD, my best friend who I adore. I am seeing my Granma Mary I miss you!!, my Grand Father who I never met, my Great-Grandma Cake who my Dad says I play piano like ( I want to play duet with her some day) and Granpa Bryan, my friend Steve, and my babies I can't wait to hold! OH THE JOY!!!

"O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name; for you have done wonderful things; your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth." -Isaiah 25:1

Don't Focus On You Past - Part 2

As Part 2 of Don’t Focus On Your Past (check out Don’t Focus On Your Past – Part 1)! I am reminded of the time as a young in the faith Christian where I asked God to see a miracle. I prayed for this quite a while. While in deep prayer and devotion one day, the LORD answered my prayer, "You are the miracle you seek!" WHOA!! I was humbled and put into my place.

"Remember His marvelous works that He hath done; His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth." -Psalms 105:5

Thank you LORD for reminding me where you have brought me from, also reminding me that since you made me into a new creation you will not leave me there.

I encourage you not to dwell on your past but rejoice in the marvelous work God has done, is doing, and will do in your life!! Let us be soft clay in the hands of God to mold us into what He is calling us to be.

Oh Thank you LORD for blessing me beyond measure! How Blessed it is to see your marvelous works and wonders!!! Thank LORD!! In Jesus's name and Glory Amen.

What do you want me to do now LORD?

What do you want me to do now LORD? Pastor Ronnie's sermon today was on what does the LORD want us to do? Are we on the LORD's team? Well,I'm ready LORD. I am ready for what ever you want me to do. I'm ready to go where you want me to go and I am ready to say what you want me to say. Since we had are Memorial I feel ready to go do what God has for me. I feel peace. I feel joy. God has truly blessed us. I am ready, LORD. I'm have been praying for an answer where He wants me. I have ideas but, I want to follow what He wants me to do rather what I want to do. I want to do His agenda, not mine. I'm so excited to get started. So keep me in your prayers and I got to go get busy. God's Peace and Joy be with you.
