Radical Jesus

Watched a video today on Persecuted Christians in North Korea (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-yoQwdRAHQ), when people are being beaten, imprisoned, tortured and killed for their faith in Jesus. Yet, we in the western world are afraid if someone calls us a name or DE-friend us on facebook. Do we really believe in Jesus, or do we just like the idea of Him? I said, one time to a real good Christian friend of mine who is a straight shooter, "I would die for Jesus". She said I wondered that a lot about us American Christians, "Why would be willing to die for Him if we are not willing to live for Him?" Really, got me to thinking, am I really living for Him? Am I scared to tell others about Him and the gospel? Lord, help me to be bold in my faith. Help me to stand up for your truth. Help me follow the Radical Jesus.

There are so many who are taking the stand and following Christ with their lives and even some with their lives. Lord, help me follow you.

Celebrating LIFE!!!

For a long time now... I have been mourning and grieving for my little ones, our dreams to have a family... It has been my greatest battle in my life. It seems that lately everyone is having babies, pregnant or little ones running around at the ages our little ones would be. Costant reminders that my arms are empty and that my dreams may never come true. But today I have victory! Victory in this not because my circumstances have changed but because Jesus has changed my heart. I can have JOY no matter my circumstances. I wroke this morning ready for this new day that God has given me. He has given me a new outlook on this life! Everything is a blessing! Air to breathe, eyes to open in the morning, lips to sing praises to His name, ears to hear the music, hands to hold, feet to move. So blessed! More than I will ever know! I am Celebrating not just my Life but the Life of others; loved ones, family, friends, and people I don't even know... Celebating the life of my lil' ones that I will one day get to hold them, touch them, sing to them... but more than that I Celebrating LIFE of JESUS! Because Jesus lived a sinless life, died the death that I/we deserve, and rose again and went to prepare us a place! LIFE is not merely this life but ETERNAL LIFE!!! That you God for what you did for me as if I might be the only be the only one! Thank you for opening my eyes, and changing my heart! You are AMAZING GOD! Thank you for the joy that comes with the morning! Psalm 30:5.

God's Peace...

The other night we went to a family bar-b-que and my little four year old nephew asked Aaron and I if we were having a baby. I said, "No buddy we aren't". He replied, "I know where you can get one." I commented back where would a four year old know where a baby comes from; "Oh yeah, where?" "From Jesus. Pray to Jesus for a baby. He's in heaven you know?" My heart so touched by this little one, "Yes, I know buddy." "Well, now that you know..." as he jumped into the van to get buckled in.

So sweet. Oh how this child touched my heart. This reminded me and I asked myself: did I pray to Jesus today for a child or was I just wishful thinking to myself? Afterwards the drive home I prayed and asked for God's will for us to have a child or not. Reminded me that my LORD Jesus is all sufficent. Sometimes I think we begin to second guess God's plan for us. But, also we forget that God is The Almighty and can do anything. Yes, we've lost 5 children in the womb, I haven't be pregnant in over seven years... Is that to big for God? No, My God is so much bigger, greater, and stronger than any problem I have. Thank you for always being sufficent. You are more than enough. Thank you LORD.

What do you want me to do now LORD?

What do you want me to do now LORD? Pastor Ronnie's sermon today was on what does the LORD want us to do? Are we on the LORD's team? Well,I'm ready LORD. I am ready for what ever you want me to do. I'm ready to go where you want me to go and I am ready to say what you want me to say. Since we had are Memorial I feel ready to go do what God has for me. I feel peace. I feel joy. God has truly blessed us. I am ready, LORD. I'm have been praying for an answer where He wants me. I have ideas but, I want to follow what He wants me to do rather what I want to do. I want to do His agenda, not mine. I'm so excited to get started. So keep me in your prayers and I got to go get busy. God's Peace and Joy be with you.
